Freda was born November 5, 1929 in Rocky, Oklahoma to Doc and Lena Freeman.
She passed away December 5, 2014 in Plano, Texas.
Her family and friends will remember her as a woman of great and enduring faith. Her favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Freda was preceded in death by her grandson, Alex Hamilton; 8 Sisters; and 1 Brother.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clyde Hamilton; daughter, Kathie Bailey and husband Dennis; son, Doug Hamilton and wife Janet; and son, Donald Hamilton and wife Rhonda; grandchildren, John Bailey and wife Lori, Lyndse and Kristen Hamilton, Nicolas Hamilton and wife Shawne, Hannah Guy and husband Trey, and Stacie Hamilton and husband Eric; 9 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Evans and husband Max; and brother, R.V. Freeman and wife Patsy.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., and will be followed by the Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M., all at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
