

Genevieve Marie Gragnon Stark age 97, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2010 in Dallas, TX. She was born in Breaux Bridge, LA on October 3, 1912 to Genevieve Irene Nunn and Dominic Joseph Gragnon.
Mrs. Stark was predeceased by her husband’s, T.I. Larsen, and H.C. “Buck” Stark; two brothers, Joseph Nunn and Patrick Auguste Gragnon; and one sister, Marie Amalie Gragnon. She is survived by her two nieces, Nicki Thorne-Thomsen (Dale) of Houston, TX and Bette Millhon of Columbus, OH; her great nieces, Sharon Millhon of Columbus, OH,, Marjorie Hay (Mark) of Glendale Farms, New Zealand, Beth Kinny (Paul) of Charlotte, NC, great nephew, Dr. Judson Millhon, II. (Leslie) of Columbus, OH, her God daughter, Sean Browne; special friends, Dottie McKee (Frank); as well as many extended family and friends.
Genevieve was a long time member of The Dallas Gun Club where she spent endless hours playing Gin Rummy with her friends.
She loved the jobs she had with British American as an executive secretary and the Dallas Symphony where she served as Assistant Controller.
She enjoyed life long friendships with the people with whom she worked. She also enjoyed attending the symphony, the opera, the theater, movies, and reading good books. She surrounded herself with beauty and wonderful friends who dearly loved her.
A private entombment will be held at Hillcrest Mausoleum.Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday September 16, 2010 at the W. N.W. Hwy Chapel at Sparkman Hillcrest.
Honorary pallbearers will be; Frank McKee, Darren McKee, Jay McKee, Jim Johnson, Sam Johnson, Daniel Johnson, and Ben Snyder.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in her memory.
