Geraldine Exum Bryant, 64, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Dallas Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was born August 10, 1953 in Bethel, North Carolina to Augustus Exum and Mattie (Daniels) Exum.
She grew up in Stokes, North Carolina and graduated from North Pitt High School, class of 1971 in Bethel, North Carolina. After graduating from high school, she graduated from the Job Corps in Guthrie, Oklahoma in 1974. She began her working career at American Airlines center and Baylor Hospital before declining in health.
Geraldine enjoyed painting, puzzles, watching television and movies, and a myriad of activities at the Fiji Senior Villas where she resided for several years prior to her passing. Geraldine married Edward Bryant on January 11, 1984. They were married for 30 years.
She is survived by three loving sisters: Forrest Exum Griggs of Washington, D.C.; Elizabeth Exum Fitzhugh (Vernon) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Vivian Exum Smith of McLeansville, North Carolina. Nieces: Charlotte Griggs Foster (Shawn) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Kimberly Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina and one nephew, Eric Griggs of New Carrollton, Maryland.
There will be no service or burial conducted at this time. The family would like to thank Laurel Land Funeral Home for assisting during their time of bereavement.
