Gloria Ann Wesley was born June 12,1948 to the parentage of Homer and Roberta Gipson. She attended DISD and graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School Class of 1966. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Peaceful Zion Baptist Church and later moved her membership to United Missionary Church where she was a faithful usher until her health started to decline.
Gloria met Freddie Lee Wesley, Sr. in Dallas, Texas and they married on May 4,1974.While raising their 4 children she worked at Mercantile Bank until retiring. She then started with Caring Hands as a caregiver from where she later retired once again.
Gloria gained her heavenly wings on Saturday afternoon on March 27,2021
Her favorite color was any shades of blue for the meaning Serenity, Stability, Inspiration and Wisdom.
Favorite scripture was Psalms 27:1 and her favorite flower was the Texas bluebonnet.
She leaves to cherish her memories by her loving husband of 48 years, Freddie L. Wesley Sr., 3 sons; Freddie Jr. (Malissa) Wesley, Davey Joiner (Darlene), Danney Joiner, daughter; Barbra Joiner (Mike Gardner). 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
