Born to parents Mary and Irvin Hensley, she was the fourth of six children. She married Elliott Burnett in 1954 and made their home in Dallas. She worked at Atlantic Richfield for more than 30 years then retired to enjoy book clubs and traveling. She moved to the Autumn Wind Care Facility in October of 2012.
Survivors include three siblings, one brother-in-law, three nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday January 17, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a Graveside Service at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
