Guadalupe Villarreal

Guadalupe Villarreal, 74, was born in Veracruz, Mexico on December 12, 1941 to Filimon Perez and Galdina Gonzalez. She passed away in Dallas, Texas on September 30, 2015. Lupe grew up in Mexico and migrated to the Unites States where she adopted her second birthdate of January 12, 1941. In her younger years, Lupe was a seamstress by trade. She also loved to dance and spend time with her family. In 1969, she married the love of her life, Jesus Villarreal, whom she shared two children with. Lupe was a devoted parishioner of the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe for 30 years. She loved to spend time with her beautiful grandchildren; she especially enjoyed making delicious, homemade meals for the family during gatherings and holidays. Lupe is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart she touched. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Jesus Villarreal; son, Orlando Villarreal; daughter Lupita “Nena” Villarreal; grandchildren, Aidan and Gabriel Villarreal, Lily and Christian Ortiz. Please join the Villarreal Family in remembering and celebrating the life of Lupe. Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 4PM-8PM, with the Holy Rosary at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2PM, with committal to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

Guadalupe Villarreal, 74, nació en Veracruz, México el día 12 de diciembre de 1941 al Sr. Filimón Pérez y la Sra. Galdina Gonzalez. Falleció en Dallas, Texas el día 30 de septiembre del 2015. Lupe creció en México e inmigró a los E.E.U.U en donde adopto su segundo cumpleaños del día 12 de enero de 1941. En su juventud, Lupe fue costurera, le encanta bailar y pasar el tiempo con su familia. En 1969, Lupe se casó con su querido esposo, el Sr. Jesús Villarreal, con quien compartió dos hijos. Lupe fue un miembro devota de la Catedral de la Virgen de Guadalupe por 30 años. Le encantaba pasar el tiempo con sus hermosos nietos, especialmente, ella acostumbraba cocinar deliciosos platillos caseros para toda la familia durante días de festejo. Lupe es amada y será profundamente extrañada por todo aquel que la llego a conocer. Le sobrevive su marido de 40 años de casados, Jesús Villarreal; hijo, Orlando Villarreal; hija, Lupita “Nena” Villarreal; nietos, Aidan y Gabriel Villarreal, Lily y Christian Ortiz. Las Familia Villarreal los invita a recordar y celebrar la diva de Lupe. La velación se lleva a cabo el viernes, 2 de octubre del 2015 de 4PM a 8PM, con el Santo Rosario rezado a las 7PM. La Misa Exequial se lleva el sábado, 3 de octubre del 2015 a las 2PM en la Capilla del Norte de la Funeraria Calvary Hill, finalizando con el sepelio en el Cementerio Calvary Hill.
