Hazel Knight

Hazel Knight was born on June 18, 1929 to parents Edgar and Emily (Emma) Aulds. She passed away on January 5, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Hazel worked as credit manager for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Hazel loved cooking meals for her family, fishing with her grandson, crafting ceramics, and embroidery. She also enjoyed riding her Honda 50 cc motorcycle and her dune buggy. She had a love for gardening, canning vegetables and fruit, but most of all she enjoyed helping people around her. She will be truly missed by those who loved her most. Hazel is survived by her daughter Emily Goodman and husband James; grandchildren Brad Wallace and wife Sheri, C.J. Goodman, Amanda Goodman, Andrew Goodman; great granddaughter Samantha, sister Loyce Gilbert; brother Leyman Aulds, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Hilman Knight, son David Malcolm Laing; sisters Christine Carpenter and Ester Lee Evans, and brothers Buford Aulds, Ray Aulds, and James Aulds. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Grove Hill Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:00 am.
