Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend, a dedicated Teacher for 25 years in Allegheny County Pennsylvania of Physically and Mentally Handicapped Children. Her life-long passion was music, both singing and playing the organ and piano at Bull Creek Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania. She also taught piano in her home for many years.
Helen was born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania on July 8, 1929 to Lawrence Cameron and Hazel Sober Hazlett, who are deceased.
Helen married Max J. Tomayko and they had a very long life together, but Max passed away in 2005. She is survived by her two loving children, Michael Edward Tomayko and Michelle Tomayko Gomez, her son-in-law Tony Gomez, Four (4) Grandchildren, Christina and Marc, Melanie, Lindsey and Barron and Five (5) Great-grandchildren.
Helen is also survived by her two (2) sisters, Louise Hazlett Heston and June Hazlett Byers, one (1) Niece, Gayle Heston Mayberry.
