

The family of Henry O'Keith Montgomery is deeply saddened to announce his passing on March 12, 2026, at the age of 73. Henry passed away while in hospice care at the Texas Veteran Affairs Medical Center in North Texas. Born on March 26, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, to the loving parents of O’Keith Montgomery and Gwendolyn Jeannette Williams, Henry graduated from South Oak Cliff High School before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country from January 18, 1974 to January 17, 1979. Henry was a beloved brother and uncle known for his kindness, his love of classic Western movies, an avid reader with bookshelves full of stories, and his passion for drawing. He will be especially remembered for his thoughtful habit of calling loved ones just to check in. Henry is survived by his oldest sister, Alice (Montgomery) Bennett; Ozzie Montgomery; Lewis Mackey; Lisa (Mackey) Hart; Bridgette (Mackey) Bethel; Sheila Mackey; and many nieces, nephews, and a great-niece and nephew.
