Holli Michele Burgess

Holli was born in Dallas, TX on August 12, 1964, to Mary and Easton Burgess. She graduated from Ursaline Academy in 1982 and attended 2 years at Lamar University in Beaumont and then 2 years at Richland College in Dallas, with one semester served overseas in Italy. She never married.

Holli first worked at Long John Silvers and then went on to work at Albertsons Grocery and its subsequent owners for over 30 years working in the Bakery Dept. She was very conscientious and dedicated to her work, often taking the shifts others didn’t want. She loved decorating cakes. For hobbies, her mother got her interested in glassware. She collected Fenton glassware and even got some of the makers to sign their work. She liked to collect coins. She liked to go to the casinos.

Holli is preceded in death by her father Easton Alexander Burgess in 1965 and her mother Mary Clark Beall Burgess in 2016.

Holli is survived by her brother Larry and his wife Betty, their son Alex Burgess and their daughter Laura Marsolek and her husband George and children Juniper and Benjamin; her sister Layne Burgess; and sister Karen Burgess Bland and her daughter Amy Wright and sons Aiden and Easton.
