

Hoyt Milford Fuller was born on May 20, 1936, in Ladonia, Texas, to Richard Joseph Fuller, Sr., and Lillie Mae Harris. He received his education from Fannindel High School. After graduating, he joined the military and served four years in the army. Hoyt married his first wife, Annie, and to this union he became the father of two children. Later this union was dissolved. He met and fell in love with Bertha Mae Williams, and later was joined in Holy Matrimony for 53 years. He became the father of four children. Hoyt was able to provide for his wife and family so that his wife no longer had to work. Hoyt was a contractor for about 30 years and later retired. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and repairing anything for anyone. Hoyt was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 26, 2017, Hoyt Milford Fuller received his new body and returned with his soul-mate as he transitioned to his new home. Upon arrival, Hoyt was welcomed by his parents, Lillie and Richard; three sisters, Jane, Winnie and Mack; two brothers, Richard, Jr., and Will; his loving wife, Bertha Mae Fuller; his beloved and only son, Dera “Derrell;” and one special nephew, Robert “Gill” Scott, Sr. Hoyt is survived by five daughters, Sharon K. Fuller, Shorletta Fuller, Shotsie Fuller, Janet Hurns and Debra Williams; one sister, Junenel Washington; one brother, Ralph Fuller (Mariyln); eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; plus a wonderful host of additional relatives and friends.
