Hugo Rodriguez

Hugo was born on December 12, 1968, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Tomás Rodriguez and María Luna. He was raised in Zacatecas, where he developed the strong family values and warm spirit that would define his life.

In 1991, Hugo married Carmen Maribel Santacruz Ramos, and together they built a loving home filled with laughter, hard work, and dedication to their six children.

Hugo was known for his friendly nature and generous heart. He found great joy in spending time with his family, especially watching his children and grandchildren play soccer.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tomás Rodriguez, and his sister, Elvira.

Hugo is survived by his beloved wife, Maribel; his children Victor, Fernando, Juan, Efrain, Erika, and Roberto; his cherished grandchildren, Isabella, Heather, Santiago, Elena, and Aziel; his mother, María Luna; and his siblings Luz, Martina, Susana, M. Concepción, Tomasa, Pedro, Rosario, and Jesús.

Hugo’s warmth, devotion, and quiet strength will be remembered always by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Hugo will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A mass will occur Friday, October 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Parish, 3030 Gus Thomasson Rd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A committal will occur Friday, October 3, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
