

Ingrid Gisele Johnson was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana February 10, 1968 to Mrs. Delores Brimmer Johnson and Mr. Clifton Johnson, Jr. She attended Progress Elementary School in Baton Rouge, DeSoto Junior High, Arkansas Central, Carter and DeSoto High schools. Ingrid also studied at the University of Phoenix.
As a teenager Ingrid accepted Christ and was baptized at the Concord Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. She was most recently employed in the department of technical support at Northrop Grumman Corporation, Irving, Texas.
Ingrid will always be loved and remembered by: her children, Garrett Bryce Johnson, Rodrick Cornell (Chaynna) Boykin, Jr., and Clifton James Boykin; one grandchild, Rodrick Cornell Boykin III; her parents, Ms. Delores B. Johnson, Dallas, Texas and Mr. Clifton Johnson, Jr. Atlanta, Georgia; a sister, Cardiss (Wallace) Knight; one nephew, Christopher Rogers II; one niece, Cayla Williams; and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Ingrid was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Leo S. Brimmer, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Clifton Johnson, Sr. and Annie Laura Johnson.
Ingrid valued her family and friends. She was always a peacemaker. If she knew you, you knew how she felt about you because she told you and showed you. She was a unique gift from God who touched all of our lives in a very unique way. May she rest in God’s eternal peace.
