Jaime Lopez

Jaime Lopez, age 68, passed away on September 9th, 2025 in Dallas, TX. He was born on October 15th,1956 in Dallas, TX to Candelario Lopez Jr. and Virginia Perez Lopez. Jaime was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended/graduated from W . W . Samuel in 1975. Jaime was a delivery driver for a mailing service company and Pep boys/diligent, where he worked for more than 40 years. Jaime retired March 2020.

During his spare time, Jaime enjoyed playing bingo, listening to music from the 70s and 80s and listening to KEOM 88.5. He loved watching classical movies/shows: The 3 Stooges, Christine, The Adventures of Babysitting, Back to the Future, Silver Bullet, The Price is Right, and Young and the Restless. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and anything Dale Earnhardt. He also loved to buy scratch offs/texas lottery tickets. He actually won $500 two different times with the numbers 000 on the Pick 3.

He enjoyed being outdoors, washing his 1987 Chevrolet Truck and visiting the cemetery to sit and reflect. He was that kind of a person that enjoyed meeting new people, always laughing and smiling and always joking around. He never had a negative thing to say about a person. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball, but never was a Dallas Cowboy/Texas Ranger fan. He was always rooting for the opposing team when the Dallas Cowboys played.

Jaime is preceded in death by his mother Virginia, father Candelario, grandparents, Blas and Asuncion Perez, Candelario Sr. and Juanita Lopez. Along with other uncles and aunts that have preceded in death and multiple friends as well. He is survived by his siblings. Sisters, Christenia Collier, Maria Juarez, and his brother Luis Lopez. Along with his nieces and nephews.

Jaime will be greatly missed as you were my brother who loved to wash my car, take me to my choir rehearsals and church on Sundays -Christenia.
