James Pearl Brice was born to the parentage of John Dye and Rosetta Powell on November 25, 1946 in Dallas Texas. He was a only child to this union, James accepted Christ at an early age. In 1969, he and his mother united with Liberty Baptist Church and served there until they left and joined True Vine Baptist Church.
James was proceeded in death by his mother Rosetta who was the last of her ten siblings to pass on, On September 19, 2014. James will be missed by many, he leaves to cherish his memory a host of relatives and friends.
