James F. Saunders

James Flynn (Jim) Saunders, native of Stephenville, Texas was born August 6, 1929. He graduated from SMU in 1950; retired from Southwestern Life Insurance after 33 years. He spent 9 years with Belmont Group. Jim enjoyed bowling and playing ping pong. Survivors are his wife Martha Gajdica Saunders; two sons, Jimmy and his wife Susan Saunders, Michael and his wife Davina Saunders; five daughters, Laurie and her husband Phillip Milton, Donna and her husband Mike Griffing, Karla Ranes, Patricia Saunders, Mary and her husband Brad Hall; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home and The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 5, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228. Rev. Michael Guadagnoli, celebrant.

Interment in West, Texas, 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2011 in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
