Tony was born on October 23, 1972, in Murray, Utah, to Linda Slack and Jaren K. Johnson. He was raised in Utah, where he spent much of his life and later became a father to his two children; Ethan and Jaren J.
He is survived by his son, Ethan Johnson; brother, Jaren Zur Robert Johnson; sisters, Hope Archuleta and Sirena Archuleta; niece, Melisandra Maestas; nephew, Danté Maestas; and niece, Tatiana Archuleta.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Slack; his father, Jaren K. Johnson; and his son, Jaren J. Johnson.
Tony was a man full of deep thought and wisdom, carrying with him a unique perspective on life, the universe, love and energy and so much more. He saw the world differently than most and shared his insight with the people he loved. Beneath Tony's rough edges he was a sensitive and kind spirit- something he didn't let everyone see but those he shared this with felt it.
He had a laugh that was unmistakable. One that could instantly fill a room and let you know he was nearby. It's a sound that will be remembered and missed.
He found joy in the simple things. He loved playing darts, hacky sack, fishing and enjoying the outdoors and golf.
He had a talent for creating beautiful woodwork, calligraphy and writing that he shared with those he loved. In true Tony fashion he found humor in keeping everyone on their toes.
Above all, Tony was a devoted father to his son. He was proud and honored to help raise and watch Ethan grow into the amazing, kind-hearted man he has become. That love was the most important part of who Tony was.
He will be remembered for his depth, individuality, creative nature, his laughter and the love he showed to those close to him. He leaves behind so many memories and lessons.
We will miss you.
Onwards and upwards.
