Jean and her husband, Len, of blessed memory, were married for 68 years before his passing in December 2020. They were happiest spending time with family, including their 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Jean was a few months shy of her 100th birthday at the time of her death. She and Len, who he affectionately called “Dolly,” were true lovebirds and had a great life together full of travel and attending their kids and grandkids numerous baseball, soccer, dance recitals, orchestra/band concerts, and plays to name a few.
Jean was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where she met Len at a bowling alley in their early 20’s. They lived in many places including Virginia, California, and Munich, Germany, but Jean’s favorite place to call home was Dallas!
The Jacobs family would like to thank Rabbi Sydni Rubinstein for officiating at the funeral and the entire Congregation Beth Torah family for their love and support. The family would also like to thank Sunrise on Hillcrest (Assisted Senior Living) for taking such good care of Mom/Grammie in her final four and a half years. They treated her like family!
A graveside service for Jean will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home & Hillcrest Mausoleum & Memorial Park, 7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225.
