

Jeanne Cecilia Nichols Lederman, 91, of Garland, Texas – beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, made her final journey into Heaven on January 18, 2024 surrounded by family.
Jeanne was born September 5, 1932 in Longview, Texas to parents Clifford Lee Nichols and Thelma King Nichols. She graduated from Our Lady of Good Council in Dallas, Texas. Jeanne was married to Andrew (Don) Lederman, Sr. on June 2, 1951 in Georgia.
She retired from Crum & Foster after working many years as an insurance underwriter. She loved spending time taking care of her plants, reading, walking, shopping and traveling. She also enjoyed caring for her beloved dogs.
Jeanne also actively supported Tunnels to Towers, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and others. She attended St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Garland, Texas and was a faithful child of God.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 46 years, Don, and grandson, Derek Wesley Lederman.
Jeanne is survived by daughters; Mary Tucker and husband, Ronnie of Garland, Patricia Martin and husband, David of Mesquite; sons, Andy Lederman and wife, Judy of Kemp, Gary Lederman and wife, Nydia of Garland and Robert and Lori Lederman of Mesquite; sister Joyce Nichols Heaton of Irving; grandchildren, Nicole Castano and husband, Kris of Frisco, Scott Tucker and wife, Emily of Sachse, Billy Martin of Mesquite, Mandy Marling and husband, Tramphis of McKinney, Cory Lederman and wife, Elizabeth of Kemp, Andra Barton and husband, Brian of Abilene, Chad Lederman and wife, Candice of Scurry, Rhianna Wurman and husband, Mike of Asheville, NC, Karis Rucker and husband, James of Anna, Zachary Lederman and wife Nicole of Murphysboro, TN, Chase Lederman and wife, Destine of Aubrey and Hope Lederman of Aubrey; great-grandchildren, Braden, Reid, Brooklyn, and Jillian Castano, Luke, Caroline and Owen Tucker, Corbin Martin, Andrew, Allie and Austin Lederman, Raley and Harper Barton, Peyton, Denver and Brees Lederman, Noah and Lyra Rucker, Kinsley Lederman; Kara Mae Fowler and Faith Gleinig; great-great-granddaughter, Olivia Avant of Kemp and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Calvary Hill Chapel. Pastor Jason Thomas will be officiating.
