

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, caregiver, and best friend, Jesse Pineda of Plano, Texas on June 18, 2024 at 68 years of age, just a day shy of his 69th birthday. Jesse passed away peacefully while on vacation in Florida, surrounded by his loving family. Jesse was born June 19, 1955, in Houston, Texas to Joe H. and Pauline Munoz Pineda. Jesse loved playing pool with his nieces and nephews, numerous camping weekends and fishing while on vacation. Being a true sports enthusiast, Jesse enjoyed cheering for his favorite sports teams, Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys. In fact, he was looking forward to watching The Mavericks playoffs. Jesse brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his beautiful heart, mesmerizing smile with dimples, quick wit, endless jokes, and infectious laugh.
In 1992, Jesse graduated from Texas Aero Technical aviation school with an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic license. He went on to work at Dallas Airmotive Inc., a jet turbine engine repair and overhaul company before deciding to leave that profession to dedicate his full-time care for his ailing mother and disabled sister, Cookie (Juanita). Family meant the world to him, and he knew he could take better care of his mother and sister than what was available.
Throughout his life, Jesse was known for his kind heart and unwavering commitment to his family. As a gentle, gentle soul, he was our constant, our support and guidance to those he loved. Jesse’s love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, he was a truly strong pillar of the family.
Jesse Pineda is preceded in death by his father, Joe H. Pineda, his mother, Pauline Munoz Pineda, his sister, JoAnn Rodriguez, his nephew, David Polanco III, and his nephew, Andrew Galvan.
Jesse is survived by his daughters Carol Sanchez (Adam), April Rainwater (Travis), sisters Yolanda Galvan, Juanita “Cookie”, brother Joe Pineda (Vera), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Jesse leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. To know Jesse was to love him.
Tio and brother Jesse, a final goodbye feels impossible when you’ve been stitched into the fabric of our lives. You’ve made us all a better version of ourselves, and for that we thank you. ~ Your Galvanes.

Visitation: Tuesday July 2, 6-8pm (Rosary 7-8pm)
