I was very sorry to hear that Jesse has passed. I don’t think I’ve seen him once since high school but have memories of a very kind sincere and honest person/friend.

My condolences to the Zuniga family. I did not know Mr. Jesse personally, but he was Michael’s dad, and Michael told me a great deal about him. Loss is always hard, and I hope and pray that Michael and his family find solace in Jesus. As the scripture says in Philippians 1:21, “To live is Christ, to die is gain.” It is my prayer that Mr. Jesse gained his wings and the family lives on to celebrate his legacy.

JZ -  you will be missed.  
I have great memories of Jesse “JZ”.  JZ was the coolest of them all.  JZ visited me at work one day and I could have sworn he floated inside the room.  He had the best walk.  He talked to everyone in the office that day and was always the gentleman.   As he left my office, everyone wanted to know who he was.  He left a lasting impression everywhere he went.  JZ was one of a kind.

I will always cherish the great memories with Jesse he made me feel so welcome into the family. He was always so stylish with his shades, scarves, and blazers, and he truly loved hosting parties. When he entered the room with his big smile, he made sure everyone was having a good time. I bet he’s having some beautiful parties in heaven. He will be deeply missed.🙏

Both of our families have endured tragic losses of family members over the past few years, but our family bond and faith has sustained us and carried us onward with faith and hope of a reunion in eternity, Jesse was a man of deep faith so I find comfort in that, I’m grateful that we had time to always spend some time together, I will miss his presence and humor but will cherish the wonderful lifetime of memories with his family and mine, the Thanksgivings, Christmas, birthdays, dinners, his single parties and the great basketball and poker games, till we see each other again brother rest in peace.

As I reflect on my brothers life Jesse Zuniga, I  go back to where everything started for our family in Grand Rapids Michigan where I was born.
 My brother Jesse who is now in heaven with my other two brothers, my parents and my aunt, was my oldest brother.  I remember our lives in Michigan where we were a very close family. We enjoyed playing in the snow and riding our sleighs. We went to Catholic Mass every Sunday! One of my fondest memories is, every Friday as a family we would watch on television a show called "The Wild Wild West." We would eat grilled cheese sandwiches and drink what we called in Michigan pop (coke and sprite),
which we would put in the snow to make sure our pop was nice and cold when we drank it. Lol 

As is said. " It's the  simple things in life that you remember. " My father was a very hard worker, and my mother took care of the family household. She was by most standards a professional cook. And made outstanding enchiladas. 

My mother's sister who was our aunt, also lived with us in Michigan, her name was Viola Ochoa. She was a professional hair stylist. However, she was more like a older sister who assisted my mother with  my brothers and sisters and the family. 

My parents instilled in us a high standard for character, which I still try to live by. Loyal to my faith and our family. Work hard, as my father did every day to support his family. The Zuniga family even as adults continue to be close even in our adult years. We often have gatherings with friends and family to break bread, and enjoy each other's company. This is a tradition that the Zuniga family continues in our adult years. 
Finally, I would like to say good bye to my only brother I had left. Now joins my other two brothers in Heaven with my parents and my aunt. What gives me peace of mind with all the brothers and family that I've lost, is it they are no longer are suffering and are in Heaven! May they all rest in peace, until I see them again!

Growing up when I would be at the Zuniga’s home and Jesse was there he had the whole house laughing. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Jesse was neighbor and friend. Beck and I  remember he and his brothers yelling during football games next door but most impressive was the year he dressed as Santa to make it special for his family but came next door to see our son  and make it special for him.  He was full of kindness and will never forget the years we had with Jesse as our neighbor.  The Zuniga family were all great but will never forget that Christmas. Love all of you. What can I say about my cousin Jesse he was kind and funny he had a good heart . Back in the days when he had his singles parties I would go and decorate the venue. He love to host the parties! All the family and friends would go and have a great time! He went thru a lot later in his years . But he always had a good attitude.
