Jesus “JJ” knew and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved and adored his children J’Kobe and Matteo and his family. His children were his world. He enjoyed time with his children, from attending movie theaters, and taking trips with them, to a simple snow cone trip. His heart was often overjoyed watching his son J’Kobe run each track meet. He was so proud! Jesus enjoyed watching uplifting Christian and comedy movies. He also enjoyed watching college and NFL football games, often rooting for OU and LA Rams. He also enjoyed attending Texas Rangers games, concerts, Motor speed racing, and Church when able. He loved music, DJing techno, and uplifting Christian music. Those who knew JJ knew they had a friend for life; he never met a stranger. All through his illness, he enjoyed helping others despite his pain. JJ never complained. His soft gentle demeanor often found ways to hide his suffering through countless ways of uplifting anyone around him with love and laughter. No matter the suffering, he continued working, and kept striving, never letting life’s challenges hold him back. Anyone who cared to look closely could see God’s gift before them in his good humor, gentle and generous spirit, and loving heart. Most were undeserving of his goodness, while many will miss God’s courageous champion dearly.
