Joe M. Becerra, 64, was born November 14, 1949. He is survived by his wife, Maria, beloved daughters, Paloma, Monica, Anna, Daniella and Rosie. His nine grandchildren whom he adored: Victoria, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Christopher, Adrianna, Amelia, Mia, Julissa, and Samuel. His three son-in-laws, Ray, Omar and Jose. He is also survived by his father, Jose Becerra, brothers, Paul and David, sisters, Irene, Maria and Rosario.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Luisa M. Becerra who awaits his homecoming in heaven. He leaves behind many more relatives and friends.
Joe joined the U.S. Army and retired from the City of Dallas. He devoted his life to his daughters and grandchildren and will be dearly missed. His example of what a great father truly is inspired many and his generous heart helped and touched many.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 8th at Gonzales Funeral Home Dallas from 1pm-8pm Burial Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 9th at 8am at St. Mary of Carmel Church, followed by military honors at DFW National Cemetery at 10 a.m.
