Joe Samford of Dallas, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 1, 2012. Joe was born in Emory, TX, on January 25, 1919 to George Lee and Eula Mae (Mulkey) Samford . He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife of 65 years Connie E. (Wiser) Samford, and brother, Normal Samford. He is survived by their children Peggy Rogers, Bennie Samford and wife Twyla, Rita Wright and husband Wayne, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The Samford Family would like to thank Hospice Select for their thoughtful assistance and guidance. The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 7, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
