John H. Summers, peacefully passed away at the Willow Bend Nursing Home in Mesquite, TX on 2 June 2016. He was born 8 April 1933, in Oklahoma City, OK to Talmage T. Summers of Mineral Wells, TX & Jessie Fuller of Abbott, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his mother & father, his wife Marie Henderson, his daughter Tina Marie, his brothers Herman & James “Fuller” Choate, and Joseph Lee Summers. He is survived by his brother, Marvin “Bud” Summers and his wife Vincenza Tufano, and children: David J Miles, Buddy Lee, John Fuller, and Robert Summers; and his nieces Vonn Cragg-Robinson and Gwen Thompson. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, was a member of the US Army, and was a lifelong member of the IBEW.” A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 1:00pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
