Jon “Hutch” Loren Hutcheson

Born on February 8, 1968, in Troy, Ohio, Jon was the son of the late Richard and Beverly Hutcheson. He grew up alongside his older brother, Jeff, and his sister, Cheryl, forming the foundation of the loyalty and strong family values that defined his life.

Jon graduated from Miami University of Ohio before earning his law degree from the University of Cincinnati. He built a successful career as a healthcare consultant and was the founder of HutchBoys LLC. He took great pride in his work and in building something of his own.

Above all, Jon was a devoted and proud father. He is survived by his sons, Evan Hutcheson and Luke Hutcheson, who were the center of his world. He loved being present in their lives, attending their sporting events, and supporting them in their futures. He took great pride in their accomplishments and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.

Jon was a passionate sports fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Dallas Mavericks. Watching games was more than entertainment for him. It was tradition, connection, and time spent with the people he loved most.

He was also an active and valued member of the SMS Dads Club. Jon loved helping set up events and spending time with the other dads, and he truly valued the friendships and community that came from being part of the group.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beverly Hutcheson. He is survived by his sons, Evan and Luke; his older brother, Jeff; his sister, Cheryl; and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM CST at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 27 at 6:00 PM at the Sparkman Club, 3366 Duchess Trail, Dallas, Texas 75229.

Jon’s legacy lives on in the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories shared with all who knew him.
