Rev. Jose Angel Hernandez of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2014 at the age of 69. He was born on May 5, 1944 in Guatemala to Esquirio and Martina De Jesus (Blanco) Hernandez. He was strong in his faith and was a man of service as a pastor in his community.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife Miriam; sons, Walter Hernandez and wife, Raquel, Otoniel Hernandez and wife, Danni, and Samuel Hernandez; daughters, Elda Vallejo and husband, Noe and Lisbeth Sigaran and husband, Jorge; brothers Celso, Mario and Saul Hernandez; sister Paula Hernandez; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Christopher, Natalia, Angela, Jonathan, Matthew, and Emely.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 6:30 – 9:30 P.M. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:30 P.M. at Primera Asamblea de Dios, 1035 Dairy Rd., Garland, Texas 75040. Funeral services will take place at the church on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas.
