Josie F Ealba

Josie F. Ealba, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished family member, passed away on November 22nd, 2025, in Downtown Dallas, TX. Born on September 30, 1961, in Houston, she has now joined her beloved mother, Raquel Perry, and stepfather, Harry W. Perry, in eternal rest.

Josie lived a life filled with love, family, and creativity. She had a tremendous heart for children and dedicated 25 years to her career with Head Start, retiring only after an unfortunate run-in involving a toy plate. She found great joy in baking and decorating cakes with her grandson, Christian Rosales, and cherished her time gardening with her grandson, Alex Rosales. Josie also treasured her memorable trips to the casino with her husband, Jesse Ealba, and her son, Michael Rosales. Her warmth, dedication, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Josie is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Jesse Ealba; her sons: Michael Rosales, Jesse Ealba Jr., Timothy Michael Ealba; her daughter, Kristy Martinez; her cousin, Mary Perez; her nieces, Rebecca Luna and Erica Pena; her grandchildren: Christian Santiago Rosales, Alex Elijah Rosales, Julian Ethan Ealba, Mason D. Clark, Scarlett Grace Ealba, Aaliyah Love Ealba, Willow R. Clark, and Adrianna A. Rocha; her brother, John Flores; her sister, Shelia Bustos; and her favorite fur babies, Rocky and Maggie May.

Josie will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she poured into every moment with her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on December 9, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home, located at 6300 South R.L., Dallas, TX 75232.

The funeral service is scheduled for December 10, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the same location. Father Patrick Olaleye to officiate.

A committal will follow on December 10, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
