Affectionately known as “Judy” by family and close friends she was born in Helena, AR and spent most of her childhood in Little Rock where she attended the Little Rock School District and graduated from Parkview High School in 1983. She moved to Dallas, TX and attended Texas Women’s University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree. She spent the majority of her working years as a nutritionist and worked for the Dallas Independent School District until the time of her death. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Walter Moore Sr and Alice Mae Moore, maternal aunt Sara Jean Moore, and maternal uncles Lee Edger Moore Sr. and Willie Charles Moore all of Milwaukee, WS.
Judith accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was baptized at the age of 8 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in West Helena, AR. After moving to Dallas, TX. she joined Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship where she faithfully attended and remained until her passing.
Judy joined Troy Durand Gray, Sr. in holy matrimony and to that union 3 children were born.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Jade Kristen Gray of Dallas, TX, Blake Ashley Gray of Springfield, IL, and son Troy Durand Gray Jr. known as “Miles” to family and close friends, of New Orleans, mother Vira Joyce Furlow of Little Rock, AR, sister Tracy Yvette Conley (Cleo) of Maumelle, AR, brother Eric Antone Furlow, of Baltimore, MD, nephews Javan Furlow, O’Shea Furlow, and Jackson Conley, aunts Bernice Wright (Stephen), Grace Smith ( Norman), uncle Walter Moore Jr. and very special close family friend Monica Talley-Essex of Dallas and a host of wonderful cousins and friends that supported her until the end.
