Judith (Judy) Bedford Woods Moss, Judy was born in Gladewater, Tx on Aug 16, 1939 to Elizabeth Bailey and James Bedford Woods. She entered her heavenly home on Sept 1, 2010. Judy’s belief in Jesus Christ as her Savior was the foundation for her daily living. She was a faithful member of Park Cities Baptist Church, the Esther class, and many Bible studies. She was a generous supporter of Christian organizations. In her final days, she continued to share the Gospel, with others. Judy was a true patriot dedicated to preserving America’s freedom. Her love of country led her to active participation in Dallas Eagle Forum. She considered it a privilege to work election polls, volunteer for many Republican campaigns, and attend local and state conventions. Judy was two years old when her family moved to Dallas. She attended Highland Park schools, Gulf Park College, and SMU, where she was a member of Delta Gamma. She enjoyed memberships in The Dallas Woman’s Club, The Dallas Garden Club, Craig Class, and 24 Book Club. Judy was a loyal, perceptive, caring friend to many and expressed love and concern for others in quiet ways. She was courageous, honorable, gentle yet strong, optimistic with a fun sense of humor. Those who knew her considered her their best friend. God put a lot of punch in a little package! Judy is survived by William (Bill) Eugene Moss, her devoted and loving husband of 50 years; her precious family: daughter Elizabeth Lee Moss; son William Eugene Moss, Jr., wife Becky and granddaughters Taylor Diane Miller and Reagan Bailey Moss; son Michael Allen Moss, wife Ginnie and grandson Jack William Moss; sisters Nancy Burgher (David) and Anne Harrison (Frank); brothers, Jim Woods, Jr.(Sue) and Steve Woods (Sandie); nine nieces, nine nephews, 19 grand-nieces, and 21 grand-nephews.
