Millican, Judith Kay Wood was born on June 28, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Helen Ortolano Wood and Daniel Byrd Wood. She passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2011 after battling colon cancer. She attended St. Bernard of Clairvaux School and was graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1966. She was employed by Texas Vascular Associates in Dallas for the past eleven years. Judith was survived by her four daughters, Amy Millican Terry, Cheryl Millican Gonzalez, Robin Millican Balderson, and Brooke Millican. She is also survived by her sisters, Dusty Clark, Laura Endres, and Eris Wood; her six grandchildren, Christian Terry, Ashton Terry, Isabella Gonzalez, Sophia Gonzalez, Bailey Balderson and Riley Balderson; her ex-husband, Gary Millican; and her mother-in-law, Wanda Millican. Judith was a devoted member of Lakeside Baptist Church for over forty years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who filled most of her time with church activities, friends and her family. Visitation will be held Friday, January 28 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, 75225. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church, 9150 Garland Road, Dallas, 75218. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the service.
