In her early years she went to school in Lagos under the supervision of her late uncle Colonel A.A Keshi. On completion of her education in Lagos, she proceeded to work with several establishments amongst which are SCOATRAC and Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) where she retired as the secretary to the Director General.
She arrived the USA with her family and worked at several establishments as a care giver and finally at State School, Denton until her call to glory on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
‘Nwachinemere’ as she was fondly called by all who knew her was a fun person, humble, forthright, forgiving and ever cheerful person. She was a very outgoing and devout Christian who held on to her faith and Christian beliefs till the very end. She was known to friends and family as “funky grandma”. She reached out and embraced all and sundry without prejudice. She was a mom per excellence not only to her children and grandchildren but to a lot of others who came in contact with her. She was a wonderful wife and she will be sorely missed by all for her warmth, love and cheerful disposition.
She was not only a role model to so many people, she was also a counsellor and inspiration to a whole lot of people.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
We say rest well in the bosom of your maker Nwachinemere. Good night and fare thee well until resurrection morning!
