Julien was a loving husband to Julianne Boone Frost for 49 years, beloved Father of Elizabeth, Michael, David and Emily, Father-in-Law to Anjie Frost and Carlos Lee, and devoted Grandfather of Grace, Kate, Molly, Olivia and Owen.
Julien grew up in Wilmington, Illinois. After graduating from high school in 1959 he attended the University of Illinois where his passion for The Fighting Illini began, as well as his Lifelong Friendships as a member of the Theta Chi fraternity.
After college Julien began a very successful career as a Mechanical Contractor and retired in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Kinetics Systems.
Julien’s love and dedication for his Family was only matched by his passion for Cooking and College Basketball.
He and Julianne have been Parishioners of St. Rita Catholic Community for more than 30 years where he was a basketball coach for the Spartans and an active member of the Bread Ministry delivering food to local food banks. Julien was also a part of the first Men’s A.C.T.S. Retreats in the Dallas Diocese.
The family will receive friends during visitation on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Road Dallas, Texas 75244, on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00p.m.
