Larry Davis

Larry Davis was born August 24, 1954 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Lawrence Mckissic, Sr. and Dorothy Boatman. A gift to the world, Larry became a blessing to the late Katie Davis and was raised in this loving household in Pine Bluff.

Larry went on to join the U.S. Air Force after which he attended El Centro Community College in Dallas, TX to begin his education in information technology. Larry spent the next 35 + years in the industry supporting the infrastructure of Fortune 500 companies such as Sprint, AT&T, and Frito-Lay just to name a few. Though recently retired, Larry kept himself busy by performing consultation work for various companies. While Larry believed in being physically active, he also exercised his spiritual health by periodically attending Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Oak Cliff, Tx.

Larry ascended to reunite with his Lord and Savior . He is preceded in death by Nov 29, 2025 his biological mother, Dorothy Mckissic, his bonus mother, Katie Davis, and brother Tony Boatman.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two children, LaQuoia Alexander of Texas and son Larry Davis (Nicole) of Virginia. Additionally he leaves his grandchildren:Zoe, Zaden, and Duece, his father: Lawrence Mckissic, Sr., his siblings: Dessie, Michelle ‘Cookie’, Lawrence, and Marc, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved friends and family. He will be greatly missed for his lively spirit and debonair demeanor.
