Larry James Gutierrez "Lottie Dottie" "Larry Katary" "Uncle Larry" beloved son, brother & Uncle and Friend, passed away at the age of 69 years old in Dallas, Texas.
He's preceded in death by his parents Saul & Inez Gutierrez, grand parents Eliza & Reyes Gutierrez siblings Pearl Gutierrez, Blanca Gutierrez, Richard Gutierrez, Ruth Duron, Priscilla Valdez, Raul Rocky Gutierrez. He is survived by his sister Linda Gutierrez - brother Raymond Gutierrez & wife Delfina, 15 nieces & nephews & many Great nieces & nephews.
At the tender age of 5 Larry lost his Dad due to a heart attack. Leaving him to be raised by his Mother Inez & older siblings which he stayed by her side until her death. They were two peas in a pod as Larry would chauffeur her around visiting the rest of the family or just thrift shopping. Always together.
Larry possessed a gentle & kind spirit. Always ready with a compliment or kind gesture. He never met a stranger, easily made friends with people he met. Good conversationalist as he kept up with current events.
You could find him most of the time redecorating the house or thinking of a crazy quirky idea of making clothing out of household items. (Almost in the style of Carol Burnett) He was very creative. Larry loved music & that was his fortè. He could name a song title & artist from all genres. His favorites R& B & Disco. He loved to host Karaoke house parties with his favorite DJ Rudy Rene. Until a year ago, his light would slowly fade as He was sent home on hospice from the hospital..Although we have to say goodbye, His light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten. RIP UNCLE LARRY🪽❤️✝️
We love you, Sleep with the Angel's
