Linda Kay Britton

Linda Kay “Kay Kay” Murry Britton, age 80, passed away on February 14, 2025 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born in California on May 26, 1944 to Coy Murry and Okla Casey Murry. Linda was raised in Dallas, Texas.

On February 17, 1973, she married Larry Britton and the couple was blessed with one daughter. The family resided in Balch Springs, Texas. Linda worked for the Federal Reserve until she became a full time stay at home mother and worked seasonally during Tax Season.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed singing and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for being a funny, good-hearted, and caring person. She will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Britton; daughter, Lori Britton; mother, Okla Murry; father, Coy Murry; and brother, Kenneth Murry.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews who provided her with love and care after her husbands passing; Pam Marett (Earl), David Murry (DeLynn), Carrie Dyer (Wade), her sister in law Pat Murry and numerous family members and lifelong friends.

Graveside services will be held March 8, 2025 at 11am with Danny Stoval officiating.
