Kay and Scott Huddleston. We were in the presence of greatness. We, and  Barbra remain fast friends. I have so many memories. The New Years parties, pigs in a blanket! The trip to Montana. Lloyd was ready to show us the beauty. The fast land of White Fish. The Big Mountain. As the boys were smart enough to get a covered area to ride up big mountain, Barbra and Kay were right behind Lloyd and Scott. As Lloyd snapped pictures of a huge sudden snow poured, covering (Kay and Barbra) up while hanging from a wire swinging back and forth getting soaked. We laughed so hard as we always did. We arrive at the top. The little club eating area had a place to dry. We spent that beautiful snow day together. As we rode to his favorite spot Big Mountain. Montana has a special place their hearts. The Birthdays were always special. I think it was around 1994 we all really meet back up. Moving to Coppell from McKinney as we did. Lloyds loss, as he was so social with that great personality will leave a hole forever. Never to good to ask your opinion on everything he made you like yourself. That's my personal story. You'll are missed with no dreams  of ever meeting anyone like you Lloyd.

Lloyd and Barbara lived across the street from us one house down for many years in Chaucer Estates before they moved downtown.  He was a wonderful neighbor.   In addition, my husband and I were part part of a supper club  with friends that met once/month for 5 plus years.  We always enjoyed Lloyd and Barbara and the wonderful conversations!  Lloyd had a wealth of life experience and was very strong in his convictions.  It's hard to imagine a world without Lloyd.   My heartfelt condolences to Barbara, Summer and her family,

I along with my parents Logan and June enjoyed many Texas Rangers game with Lloyd and Barbara.  He was a great man and will be missed by many. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Shinn when I started working at the Ritz Carlton Residences 10 years ago.  He was  a kind man that was genuinely interested in people's lives.   I always looked forward to his daily visit to our tower with Abby, for coffee, and conversation.  He was a true gentleman and an all around good guy.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Shinn and their family.

I'm broken-hearted at the loss of this great man.  He was my first boss right out of college in 1990 and remained a cherished friend for 28+ years.  He and Barbara have always been a stronghold in my life. Beautiful friends...so many wonderful memories from Apcomm and baseball to Southfork Ranch to driving around looking at  Christmas lights with a bottle of champagne rolling around (and chilling) on the roof of the car to being there when my one and only son was born to our Christmas parties and their annual NYE parties, especially Y2K to lifelong jokes and stories that will never be forgotten.  So many years of friendship creating a deep, authentic admiration and love for this man.  I always thought of LW as a giant.  He had that over-the-top personality that truly set him apart.  As my tears fall, my eyes blur, and my nose gets stuffy,  I can still think of him and smile at all the laughs he brought to me over the years.  Great years!  It was an honor to know him and be a small part of his amazing life!

Not only did Lloyd and I attend the same high school, W. T. White, we were both original owners at The Residences at the Ritz-Carlton.  Lloyd was our first HOA president and when he moved to the second tower, he took up the moniker there.  I knew I would see him at least weekly, walking Abby and stopping by the lobby to check-in.  He always had time for everyone.  He loved a good poker game & gave me a few pointers along the way.  Lloyd and Barb made so many friends here, I hope our love and caring brings some small token of comfort to the family.  Our hearts are truly broken.  The world has lost a wonderful guy.

When I think of Lloyd, the first thing comes to mind is his warm presence.  In fact, He was the first neighbor I met after I moved into the condo.  He was so warm and welcoming, it helped me feel at home.  Soon, I learned that he was loved by everyone in the building.  Over the years, he became a cherished friend and neighbor to my family and me.  We felt blessed to have known him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.  

Lloyd was not only a resident but a friend, confidant, and my morning sounding board. Every morning he would stop by my office to ask for updates and to share ideas on how we can improve. He was very level headed and knew how to make me smile. He could tell when I was having a rough day and was able to help alleviate some of the burdens. Lloyd is truly loved not only throughout our building, but the hotel and our sister tower as well. We are all very saddened by this loss and our prayers and condolences are with the family. Our lives are forever changed thanks to Mr. Shinn.
