

Lola Mosley was born on February 27, 1937 to the late Rev. Wesley Cole Thompson Sr. and Mary Evelyn Cole Thompson in Hope, Arkansas. Lola received her former education at Morehouse Parish High School in Louisiana.
Lola accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and attended Mount Olive Church located in Holly Ridge, Louisiana and she sung in the Thompson Sister's Choir and also served on the usher board.
She was a longtime member of Eastgate Baptist church where she was a member of the choir, served on the usher board, and served on the Pastor's Supplementary Board.
In her leisure she enjoyed cooking and teaching her kids the word of God on the weekends.
Lola Mosley departed this life on January 27, 2026. She was proceeded in death by her father, Rev. Wesley Thompson Sr. and mother, Mary Evelyn Cole Thompson. Two daughters, Debra Mosley and Donna Tate. Her husband, Willie Mosley, and 2 grandsons Rodney Nash and Thomas Nash.
She leaves to cherish the memories: her 2 daughters; Amy Mosley and Tammie Mosley. 3 grandsons; Dontae Hill, Willie Mosley, and Kendrick Nash. 1 granddaughter; N'neka Hill. 2 great granddaughters; Angelique Hodges and Rodejahi Nash. 2 Great-great granddaughters; JaRayiah Hill and Agnes Hodges. 4 great-great grandsons; Demondrae Simon, Dontae Ali Hill Jr., Kollin Mosley and Connor Mosley. Her 2 sisters; Gloria Thompson and SFC (R) Dr. Patricia D Green and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
