

Lorrine Faye Garrison Snider, 93, died May 20, 2026. Born September 27, 1932, in Honey Grove, Texas, Lorrine was raised in Honey Grove by her parents, John McFadden Garrison and Nettie Boehler Garrison.
Lorrine attended and graduated from West Lamar High School in Petty, Texas, in 1949. She later built a respected career as an executive secretary, serving with care and professionalism at Weyerhaeuser Lumber Company and Weathermatic Sprinkler System.
In 1952, Lorrine married Walter Thad Snider. Together, they shared a life grounded in steady devotion and enduring commitment. Throughout the years, Lorrine was known for a spirit that was both quietly strong and sincerely kind—marked by thoughtfulness, generosity, and a positive outlook that lifted those around her.
Lorrine also gave of herself through volunteer work in her community and church, offering her time and attention with the same graciousness that shaped her daily life. Her legacy is one of love freely given, support offered without hesitation, and a presence that will be deeply missed.
Lorrine was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Walter Thad Snider; her sister, Marie Wilson; and her brother-in-law, Bob Wilson.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Jane S Johnson of Arlington, TX, and Betty Snider, Dallas, TX; her nieces, Tina Fuller Jones and Mike Jones (Arlington, TX), Debbie Gandy and David Gandy (Forney, TX), Monica Coney and Steve Gonzales (Fort Worth, TX), Kimberly Berman and Steve Berman (Ada, Michigan), and Sandra Smith & Chad Smith (Caddo Mills, TX); along with numerous grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, on May 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
