Louise Chandler

Louise Chandler was born on December 15, 1922, in Groesbeck, Texas to parents John and Myrtle Manning. She passed away October 27, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Louise met the love of her life, Alfonso Palmer Chandler, and they married on June 18, 1940. They were married for over 44 years until his passing. Louise enjoyed teaching Sunday school at 2nd Baptist Church. She was also very active with the muscular dystrophy association and the PBX club. Louise spent time visiting with friends, and celebrating her family’s birthdays at the Circle Grill in Dallas. She also loved listening to bluegrass and gospel music. Louise will be truly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Pat Souder and husband Ron; granddaughter Elizabeth Louise Souder Philyaw and husband Jason; grandson Ray Souder and wife Rachel Erb; great grandchildren Benjamin Ronald Philyaw, Ruby Louise Philyaw, Samuel Joseph Philyaw, Ella Marie Souder; sister Dorothy Palmer; sis-in-law Charlotte Manning, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Palmer Chandler, grandson John Lee Philyaw, parents John and Myrtle Manning; sisters Willie Mae Boyton and Neoma Bower, and brother A.E. Manning.
