Luis A. Silva, age 89, passed away on August 8, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on August 25, 1935 in El Potrero, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Guadalupe and Jose Silva. He married Nicolasa Silva in 1965 and the couple had one daughter.
In his spare time, Luis enjoyed spending time with his great grandson "El Hombre Grande", going to his " Ranchito", and spending time with his dogs, and most recently with his chickens and roosters.
His family and friends will always remember him as a strong, kind and selfless person.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nicolasa Silva.
Survived by: his daughter, Marisela Silva; his grandson, Carlos A. Castillo (Maria Moreno); his granddaughter, Adriana Castillo (Jose Melendez); and his great grandson, Nicholas James Melendez.
