Luisa Palomo Rodriguez passed on to be with Our Lord on August 11, 2016 and joins her sister, Marcelina and brothers, Aldofo and Pedro in Heaven. She was born in Forney, Texas to Tiofilo and Constancia Rodriguez and made Dallas her home for 91 years.
Her daughter, Mary Jane, son-in-law, Jesse Rodriguez, along with her grandchildren; Emmanuel and Jesus, JJ and his wife Ana and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abby survive her. She is also survived by her beloved sister, friend and next-door neighbor, Frances Riojas.
Luisa was a devoted loving mother, nourishing aunt, and a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her belief in family, care for her neighbors and her life as a strong-willed, independent woman. She enjoyed gardening, music and loved to be surrounded by her many nieces, nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Religious service will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Lombardy Lane, Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with burial at noon.
