Condolence, in passing we know that Rev Pope has been freed from every bond, every burden, and every limitation. And, in this we rejoice. Knowing that grief never ends, but changes. I feel privileged and highly honored to have known such a mighty anointed powerful woman of God from when we were young women her faith never changed her love for God just kept growing we had fun in church out of church wherever we went we enjoyed each other, a woman always giving of her self and whatever God had blessed her with and I know she had a beautiful mansion that was already set up for her which she truly deserve thank you Jesus for allowing her to be in my life.
And I know her daughter and her grandchildren know they were truly her joy.

We, the Jurisdictional AIM Chairpersons of Mid Southwest Region Of Texas, join our hearts in compassion with the Family and Texas East Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction celebrate the life of God’s humble servant, Supervisor Dr. Lula Mae (McNeal) Pope.

Mother Dr. Lula Pope,
Was my Jurisdictional Supervisor, and she loved God as well as the people of God. I thank God for all that she did to show our family love, and care in so many ways. She was a beautiful woman of God, and it was a model for us. I will miss hearing you say where are the worshipers, and agape love. Her actions showed true generosity not only to everyone in Texas East Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC,  but to the community as well. To the family thank you all for sharing her with us, and may God bring you strength, and comfort every day of your lives.🙏🏾 She believed in education, and through her sharing her journey with me it encouraged me to pursue my degrees. And, she provided me a opportunity to work for God as well. She always had a way to show us love, and I will always carry her in my heart. I really will miss her phone calls 📞 with her saying Sis Meka we were her armor bearers in the women's department.❤️ She is greatly missed by me, and the rest of the Moten family fly high Angel.🩷 
To the family may God be your help as well is my prayer. Psalms 121🙏🏾🩷

I will always love Sister Pope; she was more than a woman of God.  She stood the test and carry it for so many years. God kept you, and you will always be in my family memories.  You will certain be miss.

Mrs. Pope paid me to tutor her granddaughter. She was always so kind and loving and stood in the gap. They don’t made grandmothers like her anymore. Rest in peace.
