She was the last surviving sibling of eight children; seven girls and one boy. During her last year of High School, she worked in an office and continued to work there until after graduation.
Margie met her future husband, Tony, at a football game when she was only 16 years old. They were married on January 22, 1949, and eventually became parents of five children - three of which are still surviving.
They lived in Rosedale-Queens New York until 1989, and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida to a home they had built in 1984.
After Tony's passing in 2004, Margie eventually moved to a condo in Heritage Park in 2006.
Margie was a great teacher to all of her children and grandchildren, helping to mold them and their families into how they are today.
To this day, she is considered one of the greatest influences in the family.
