Margaret Rivera

Margaret Rivera, 92, of Dallas, TX, passed away on February 29, 2020 in Mesquite, TX. She was a very strong and independent mother and grandmother and a great friend to those around her. She will be greatly missed by all and her memory will live on forever.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home from 4-8pm on Friday, March 6, 2020. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 12:00pm in the North Chapel with Deacon Andy Pena of St. Michael of Arch Angel Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas West in Calvary Hill Cemetery.

Margaret Rivera was born in Kemp, TX to Martina & Pedro Trevino on October 09, 1927. She worked as a Seamstress and then as an Au Pair for many years. She was a member and attended St. Edwards Catholic Church.

Margaret is preceded in death by Daughter MaryLou Veracruz, Grandson Domingo Veracruz, Sister Santos Delgado, Brothers Reyes Trevino and Pedro Trevino.

Margaret is survived by Partner in Life Nasario Gonsales, Daughter, Irene Perez and Spouse Conrad, Son, Joseph Garcia and Spouse Pheobe and Daughter, Dorothy Garcia, Half- Brothers, Issac and Gilbert Trevino. Grand Children – Martha Martinez and Spouse Nick, Elizabeth Mendez, Garrett Garcia, Ernest Garcia, Fedrico Villegas, Joseph Garcia, Barbara Garcia and Spouse Juan Cundiff, Bobby Sesma and Christina Jiron. Great Grand Children – Anthony, Stephanie, Melyssa, Priscilla, Amanda, Lucio, Briana, Cesalie, Zoe, Juan Jr, Ernest Jr, Zoren, Diego, Seth, Zaley, Addy, Abel and Ari. Great Great Grand Children – Michael, Anthony, Marissa, Angel, Selina, Eatan and Elijah.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Garcia, Joey Garcia, Anthony Estrello, Lucio Mendez, Juan Jr Garcia and Ernest Garcia Jr.
