Margaret Willa Worley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Born on May 29, 1943, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Willard and Margaret, she was raised in Omaha and attended St. Joseph Catholic High School, graduating in 1955.
Margaret built a career as a legal secretary with Nations Bank, where she worked for more than ten years. Her dedication, professionalism, and kindness were admired.
A devout woman of faith, Margaret was a lifelong servant to her church community. She generously gave her time to various ministries, including RCIA, marriage preparation, and Bible study. Her devotion extended beyond the church walls—she also volunteered as a docent at the Dallas Arboretum, where she found joy and beauty among the flowers and friends she met there.
To her loved ones, she was affectionately known as “Cards,” “Magoodle,” and “Mimi.” Margaret’s family will forever remember her steadfast faith, her love of prayer—especially the daily rosary—and her gentle, joyful spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Margaret; her brother, Robert; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Margaret is survived by her devoted husband, Dallas; daughters Gayle Barton, Jennifer Campbell (Mitch), and Dianne Brungardt (Brian); grandchildren Haley Barton, Geoffrey Holland, Mallory Holland, Faith Brungardt Flores (Charlie), and Isabelle (“Ellie”) Brungardt; and great-grandchildren Kathler Lee, Wesley Greener, Myles Greener, and Adela Rose Flores.
