She was a generous and thoughtful individual, who remained faithful to her family and friends throughout her life.

Maria was the widow of Onesimo Martinez and is survived by her children: Juan Antonio Martinez, Jose Onesimo Martinez, Maria Cristina Martinez, and Jessica Martinez; grandchildren, Mariah Alexis Martinez, Brandon Alexander Martinez, Michael Andrew Martinez, Isabella Jean Clore, Mason Austin Martinez. Mary Rose Elizabeth Dessommes Martinez Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A devoted gardener, Maria found joy in tending to her garden, which was filled with beautiful roses. Her passion for gardening was a reflection of her thoughtful and nurturing spirit.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Gonzalez Funeral Home, located at 3050 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247. Visitation will be held on December 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary service taking place from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
