She was born in Dallas, Texas on February 22, 1927, daughter of the late John and Louise Clark. Marjorie worked at Magnolia Oil, now Exxon/Mobil Oil, where she met her late husband, Henry (HL) Harrington and were married for 64 years. She was a faithful member of the Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas and will be remembered for her caring heart and unconditional love for her family. Marjorie loved life. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, adored cats, an avid crossword solver and was a huge sports enthusiast.
She will be forever cherished and remembered by her three sons; David Harrington and wife Dawn; Gary Harrington and wife Beverly; Jim Harrington and Charla Smith. She was a loving grannie of four grandchildren; Lynette Gatlin and husband Greg; Sandra Harrington; Shelli Springer and husband Robert; and Blake Harrington. Five great grandchildren; Garrett and wife Kaylea, Mason, Preston, Hudson and Gabby. Two great/great grandchildren; Harper and Remi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry (HL) Harrington and sister, Elizabeth Clark Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 7:00-8:00pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 @2:00pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas with burial to follow.
