He is survived by his father, Donald Sterne, and step-mother Anna Sterne of Edmond, Oklahoma, sisters Michelle Wolfsong of Oklahoma City and Charla (Dan) Sage of Girdwood, Alaska; as well as several nieces, a nephew, step-siblings and numerous cousins, fellow congregants and friends.
Mark taught in the Dallas public school system for many years and was very proficient in Art and Biology.
He will be buried on Thursday, September 2nd, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas. Officiating at the burial will be Cantor Don Croll of Congregation Beth El Binah, of which Mark was a founding member.
