Martha Sue Wallace

Martha Sue Wallace passed away peacefully at Baylor Hospital in Dallas on December 28, 2018, surrounded by her family. Sue was born in the same hospital on October 24, 1942, to Elliott and Estaleen Wilkinson, along with twin brother David. The two grew up in East Dallas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Sue completed her BA in Music Education at Southern Methodist University. She married Kent William Wallace in January of 1966. Kent and Sue raised three children, Kent, John and Catherine, in Lake Highlands while running their own electronic distribution business, Wallace Electronics, Inc. Sue was an active participant in her children's school activities, neighborhood and church groups and various philanthropical organizations. Her energetic and kind nature left their mark on all who knew and loved her. She loved gardening, walking her dog, playing bridge, entertaining and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir at Northway Christian Church and attending weekly Bible study sessions with dear friends. Sue took good care of all those she loved, including her 5 grandchildren, Max, Connor, Hudson, Oliver and Isabel Sue. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones. Always beautiful, graceful and strong, Sue will forever live in the hearts of her family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 1/2/19, at 4pm at Northway Christian Church in Dallas.
